Revenue reached RUB 381,306 million, up 23.2% year-on-year; EBITDAR
reached RUB 120,330 million, up 52.0% year-on-year. EBITDA reached
RUB 77,160 million and increased by 61.3% year-on-year. Operating
profit increased by 81.8%.
The AirAsia Group, consisting of AirAsia Berhad and associate
airlines in Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, India and Japan, posted
combined revenue of RM2.97 billion for the quarter, up 6% from RM2.80
billion in the same quarter last year.
Today, on November 30, 2016, the Latvian airline airBaltic welcomed
the world's first Bombardier CS300 aircraft in Riga. The new CS300
aircraft with a total of 145 seats, offers excellent flying
Starting end of March 2017, airberlin will offer four flights daily
(28 per week) from Berlin-Tegel to Prague. In so doing the airline
will double the frequency of its services compared to the previous
summer from two to four flights per day.
On May 1st 2017, Air France will fly between Paris-Charles de Gaulle
and Montreal with its second Boeing 787. Montreal will be the first
transatlantic destination served by this new generation aircraft.
Aircalin, the Noumea based carrier in the French territory of New
Caledonia has signed an agreement for two A320neo single-aisle and
two A330-900 wide-body aircraft. The agreement was finalised and
signed at a ceremony in the capital Noumea attended by airline
officials and Airbus executives.
Alitalia today strengthened its position in the air travel market
between Italy and Latin America with the launch today of flights to
Cuba. Out of respect for the national mourning decreed in Cuba, the
Italian Company chose not to perform the usual opening ceremony for
the new route.
All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. and LOT Polish Airlines are pleased to
announce that from December 1, 2016, they will expand their range of
code share flights to cover certain domestic Japanese routes operated

Seating Service." 'Preferred Seating Charged Service' is a service in
which passengers traveling on international flights operated by

Air Caledonie today took delivery of its first of 4 ATR 72-600
aircraft at a ceremony at ATR facilities in Toulouse, France. Air
Caledonie's ATR 72-600 will seat 68 passengers in all-economy

The Airbus A320 with the registration number OE-LBZ took off on its
first flight OS 789 from Vienna to Bucharest. The aircraft named
"Obertauern" offers sufficient space to seat 168 passengers. The
medium-haul jet will be primarily deployed for bilateral flight
traffic between Austria and Germany.
Pilots have long been calling on the government scrap air passenger
duty and have expressed disappointment that a decision has been
pushed until after Britain's exit from the EU.
Boeing and Vietnam Airlines celebrated the delivery of the flag
carrier's 10th 787-9 Dreamliner today. The airline took delivery of
its first 787 Dreamliner in July 2015 and has nine more 787s on
Bombardier Commercial Aircraft today announced the delivery of the
first CS300 aircraft to launch operator Air Baltic Corporation AS ,
the flag carrier of Latvia. The CS300 is the larger variant of
Bombardier's all new C Series aircraft, which is designed to carry
between 130 and 150 passengers.
More than ever, the Belgian airline wants to offer the most personal
service to its customers and therefore extends its customer service
via social media to a full-fledged 24/7 service, promising a reply
within 30 minutes in French, Dutch and English.
Budapest Airport has announced further development in its continuous
growth and progression with the welcome return of Iberia next summer,
with an expanded flying programme.

Finnair will speed up its digital transformation and hire
approximately 70 software developers, project managers, service
designers and other digital professionals into its new digital team.
Flybe, Europe's largest regional airline, has today added more routes
for sale as part of its expanding 2017 Summer schedule that currently
offers a choice of up to 3,242 flights week across 157 routes.
Hahn Air's partner airline, Cambodia Bayon Airlines, has been added
to the network of H1-Air partners that take advantage of Hahn Air
Systems' consolidation services.
To commemorate its first decade of business, Hong Kong Airlines held
its 10th Anniversary Grand Celebration to highlight the Company's
corporate achievements and its contribution to Hong Kong aviation
since its establishment.
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) welcomed the
European Commission's revision of the Renewable Energy Directive to

JetBlue today announced the historic launch of service to Havana's

cooperation effective 2017. From 9 January, China Airlines will begin

Korean Air, America's largest Asian airline, is aggressively

with SkyTeam partner, Delta, to ensure the airline's continued

LOT has extended the code-share contract with Japanese airline ANA.
As a result, as of 1 December LOT's passengers can fly, with a
layover in Tokyo, to three additional cities in Japan: Sapporo,
Sendai, and Fukuoka.
Deutsche Lufthansa AG has made the Vereinigung Cockpit pilots' union
(VC) a new offer to resolve the present industrial dispute. The
company is now offering a two-step 4.4% increase in remuneration plus
a one-off payment.
MAB showed steady progress in the period July to September 2016 (Q3),
