AN INTRODUCTION TO PERTH | just4airlines.com Properties in the region | |
![]() Perth perched on the edge of the Indian Ocean, has superb beaches stretching for miles at a time. The coastline offers breathtaking views, and beautiful swimming locations.
Temperatures generally over the thirties, a comfortable dry heat, and gusty cooling afternoon breezes make Perth a water sports lover's paradise Scuba diving, sailing, water skiing, wind surfing, pare sailing, and surfing on both the Ocean and River are favourites among the locals- and readily for all to try.
Yet Perth also has all the amenities of a cosmopolitan City. On offer are a wide array of restaurant- seafood, Italian, French, Greek, Chinese, and Japanese; a variety of boutiques and great food halls selling the best local produce and seafood. 7km's to the south of the Swanborne Guest House stands the historical port City of Fremantle an old sailing Port converted into bustling outdoor markets and promenades. 7km's to the north, adjacent to the City centre, is North Bridge an exciting nightspot which caters to every taste-family restaurants, bars, nightclubs and cabarets.
For those wishing to venture further a field the possibilities are endless. Visit Margaret River, with its world renowned wineries, Karri forest, and spectacular coastlines, or feed the world - famous Monkey Mia dolphins in their natural environment; or drive inland and witness Australia barren, arresting outback; or make trip to Rottenest, an exotic island located 26kms off the main land.
