This quiet, secluded area lies just one kilometre west of Avarua, Rarotonga's main town. A pick-up service from the airport is available.The Atupa Orchid Units are handy to shops, restaurants and other facilities. The round-the-island bus service stops outside the gate. There is a bicycle and motorcycle for hire too. The owner, Ingrid Caffery and her son, Mario, speak and write English, German and Dutch as well as some French.
